What You'll Be Doing Roles I place typically cover: End to end payroll processing, including timesheets, leave and new starter/termination pay runs Superannuation,
PAYG and STP reporting Reconciling payroll accounts and resolving discrepancies Handling payroll queries from staff Maintaining accurate payroll records in line with relevant awards and legislation What We're Looking For Proven payroll processing experience, ideally in a standalone or small team environment Solid working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation and STP requirements Comfortable picking up a current payroll system quickly High attention to detail, especially given the confidential nature of the work Experience either in mining, construction, SCHADS awards About the Business Optimum Consulting is a Brisbane-based recruitment and HR consulting firm.
