Project Manager- Construction (Hospital Fit Out)
We are working with a respected building fit out company that deliver projects across healthcare, education and commercial sectors.
They specialise in delivering small to medium Design & Construct projects ranging from$500k to $40M, with particular expertise inhospital, medical and dental facilities, including complex extensions, additions and interior fit-outs.
They currently employ 30 people in their business.
To help them deliver their ever expanding project portfolio, we are looking to source a Project Manager to deliver a health infrastructure project and to support another live fit out project in Sutherlandshire The projects are worth $4 million and $10 million in value.
The role is predominantly based in Sydney's Inner West although one day week will be spent on the project site in Sutherlandshire.
The OpportunityThis role will see you reporting directly to the Managing Director and taking ownership of a$4M early works packagefor the expansion of an existing hospital'santenatal unit.
The project is primarily aninternal fit-out, with technical complexity around fabrication, services coordination and design management within a live healthcare environment.
Experience working withmedical gases, and infection control requirementswould be highly advantageous.
The Role
As Project Manager you will oversee the full lifecycle of the project, including:
Programme preparation and forecasting
Budgeting, costing and financial reporting
Managing subcontractors and site activities
Client and stakeholder communication
Site inspections and project establishment
Ensuring compliance withBCA standardsandOH&S; requirements
Managing timelines, project deliverables and onsite issues
Projects Typically Delivered
New build, fit-out, refurbishment and extensions forHospitals,



Medical and Dental facilities
Extensions to adjoining tenancies (shopping centres)
Standalone building extensions
Education projects includingSchools, TAFEs and Senior Living
Fit-outs to cold shells (majority) and occasional warm shells
Projects underGC21 contracts
Bachelor's degree inCivil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
4-5 years' experiencein project management within a commercial head contractor environment
Strong design management/finalisation exposure and working with government clients to develop DA's and RA's
Commercial and financial management capability
Experience managing subcontractors and client relationships
Familiarity with project software such asProcore
Robust communication, negotiation and leadership skills

Remuneration Package
Max $225,000 TRP (base and super)
