Project Details Location: Western Suburbs, Melbourne Sector: Major Data Centre Project Duration: Initial 2-3 month contract Start: ASAP Shift Options: Day Shift or Afternoon Shift The Opportunity A leading commercial builder is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Melbourne's western suburbs.
Working closely with the project team and subcontractors, you will play a key role in maintaining high safety standards across a fast-paced site environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on safety professional who enjoys being on site, building relationships and driving positive safety outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Conduct daily site inspections and safety walks Monitor subcontractor compliance and site safety performance Facilitate site inductions and onboarding Review SWMS and risk assessments Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings Investigate incidents, near misses and corrective actions Maintain safety documentation and reporting Support project audits and client safety requirements Manage safety records and compliance systems Coach supervisors and subcontractors on safety best practice Promote a proactive and positive safety culture About You 3+ years' experience as a Safety Advisor within commercial,
