This is a key AKD leadership role: the person will participate fully in the success of AKD by living its agreed core values in word and deed, adhering fully to agreed social contracts and providing the organisation and its people with clear leadership.
The role is to ensure Ensure a physically and psychologically safe, harm-free work environment, ensure safe and efficient production processes, and extract maximum efficiencies from teamwork and collaboration We believe the position will best suit someone with a mechanical qualification and previous team leadership across 24/7 operation.
The team member will have strong organisational and communication skills to effectively lead the technical and people elements.
Key duties responsibilities: A harm free, socially safe,



care-oriented workplace Deliver the highest possible performance of all parts of AKD Operations together with fellow members of the Operations Leadership Team.
Safe and efficient production on a 24/7 basis, according to the Caboolture Operational Plan in so far as it applies to Kilns Boilers Continuous improvement of Kilns and Boiler processes and activities Equipment, procedures, policies, systems and controls that support the Kilns and Boilers production process, function correctly and safely, enable consistency, and ensure that AKD meets its obligations.
All reports have an up to date fit for purpose working knowledge, context and understanding of AKD's purpose, values, way of organizing, and expectations All employees meet legislated compliance training and are working towards 100% completion of internal compliance Skills experience: Previous technical or mechanical experience is highly regarded to be successful in this role.
