The Transport Network Planning team provides strategic leadership, planning expertise, and evidence-based advice to support the development of safety focused programs and projects that that support government investment in a safer, more efficient transport network for all South Australians.
Lead network safety analysis, planning, and engagement to inform transport investment and road safety outcomes.
We seek a collaborative, forward-thinking and analytical professional with strong teamwork, communication and project management skills who can influence decisions and lead planning that supports evidence-based improvements to South Australia's transport network.
Educational Qualifications / Licences A recognised degree or postgraduate qualification in Engineering providing eligibility for professional accreditation with Engineers Australia or a recognised degree or postgraduate qualification in the discipline of planning or transport planning is required.
Special Conditions A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.




Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays may be required.
