Location: Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) RAAF Wagga Wagga Employment Type: Casual Rate of Pay: $***** per hour + Casual Loading We are seeking Lifeguards to join our team supporting the Australian Defence Force through our ESS business at Blamey Barracks and RAAF Wagga Wagga.
ESS delivers the best hospitality and support services to Defence sites across Australia.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe aquatic environment, supervising pool users, responding to emergencies, and supporting the delivery of high-quality Sport Recreation services.
Sport, Recreation Aquatic Responsibilities Oversee daily pool operations, ensuring water quality, safety, and legislative requirements are met.
Supervise facility users and maintain emergency response readiness.
Support Sport Recreation compliance standards across aquatic and fitness facilities.
Conduct fitness centre inductions and provide exceptional customer service.
Respond to emergencies, including administering First Aid, CPR, and oxygen where required.
Report hazards, incidents, and near misses in a timely manner.
Promote a positive culture of safety, teamwork, and professionalism.
What We Are Looking For Current Lifeguard Qualification.
Current Working with Children Check.
Current First Aid and CPR qualifications, including oxygen administration.
Strong commitment to customer service, safety, and teamwork.




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Australian Citizenship (mandatory).
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence Security Clearance.
