Key responsibilities

Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate delivery schedules.
n
Safely transport and deliver various goods and materials to designated locations.
n
Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety on the road.
n
Position vehicles accurately for the effective loading and unloading of materials.
n
Utilize hoisting and tipping equipment to load and unload construction materials safely.
n
Maintain accurate logbooks of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
n
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address any mechanical issues.
n
Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and minimize delays.
n
Report any defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
n
Perform routine maintenance of the truck, including refueling and cleaning.
n
About you
n
Relevant Australian Qualification and/or licencing order.
n
Proven 1 year experience as truck driver.
n
Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
