Factory Hand – Stainless Steel Fabrication

We are seeking a reliable Factory Hand to join our stainless steel fabrication workshop. This role can accommodate candidates seeking standard 40-hour full time employment, as well as those preferring adaptable casual arrangements. No prior trade experience is necessary; comprehensive, hands-on training will be provided across all tasks and machinery.

Key responsibilities
n
Surface Finishing: Stainless steel polishing, deburring, and linishing to required standards.
n
Machine Operation: Safely operating bandsaws, presses, and general workshop machinery under supervision.
n
Assembly Work: Fitting and assembling components using standard hand and power tools.
n
Material Handling & Workshop Support: Cutting stock to length, staging materials for fabricators, and maintaining an organized, safe workspace.
n

Punctual, reliable, and committed to workshop safety.

Willingness to follow standard operating procedures and learn new machinery.
n
Physically capable of manual handling and factory-based work.
n
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
n
Comprehensive on-the-job training across all equipment.

Flexible hour arrangements: reliable 40-hour full-time position or casual shifts to suit your schedule.
