Job Description
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, can lead a small crew, and enjoys variety. You'll be working across some excellent residential projects including decks, pergolas, fencing, retaining walls, mini excavation and general carpentry.

Key responsibilities

Leading a small team and keeping jobs running smoothly
n
Building decks, pergolas, stairs, screens and fencing
n
Constructing retaining walls
n
General carpentry and residential construction
n
Operating mini excavators and assisting with site preparation
n
Reading plans, setting out and solving problems on site
n
Coordinating materials, tools and day-to-day site activities
n
Maintaining high standards of safety,



workmanship and site presentation
n

About you
n

Experienced carpenter with strong residential construction skills
n
Confident leading a small team
n
High-quality workmanship and attention to detail
n
Good communication and problem-solving skills
n
Reliable, organised and takes ownership of the job
n
Large tool trailer or truck containing all necessary tools mandatory
n
Variety of interesting residential projects
n
Hands-on role with responsibility and autonomy
