As a Project Manager (Apartments), you will lead the delivery of medium-density residential developments from concept through to completion, managing planning, design, procurement, construction and stakeholder engagement activities to achieve successful project outcomes.
We are seeking an experienced ASO7 Project Manager (Apartments) for an initial 3-month engagement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned development professional to manage a portfolio of townhouse and apartment projects within a large-scale residential development program.
Working within a multidisciplinary project team, you will be responsible for guiding projects through all phases of the development lifecycle, including feasibility, planning and approvals, procurement, design management, construction delivery and project close-out.
Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of medium-density residential developments from inception through to completion.
Manage project feasibility assessments, business case development and project establishment activities.
Develop and maintain project delivery strategies, schedules and budgets.
Coordinate consultant teams including architects, planners, engineers, surveyors and specialist advisers.
Manage design development, planning approvals and stakeholder requirements.
Oversee procurement activities for consultants, contractors and development partners.
Monitor project budgets, forecasts, risks and commercial performance.
Build and maintain productive relationships with government agencies, consultants, industry partners and community stakeholders.
Prepare executive briefings, reports, presentations and project updates.
Monitor construction delivery activities to ensure projects meet approved scope, quality, budget and program objectives.

About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Proven experience managing residential development projects through planning, design and delivery phases.
Strong understanding of South Australia's planning and development environment.
Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated procurement, contract management and commercial management experience.
Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship management skills.
Experience preparing executive reports, briefing papers and recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Robust project management, strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Highly Regarded Experience delivering townhouse and apartment developments.
Knowledge of affordable housing, build-to-rent or similar residential development models.
Experience within government, urban renewal, property development or client-side project management environments.
Understanding of construction delivery, building contracts and project commissioning processes.
