Job Description Sunpork is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in Murray Bridge, SA as a Level 1 Maintenance Technician working across multiple farms. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting chance for the right candidate to contribute to our Maintenance division. Key responsibilities and tasks include:
Performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
Conducting inspections to identify and address potential issues
Assisting with repairs and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Recording maintenance activities and reporting any defects or malfunctions
Collaborating with other team members to achieve departmental goals
Participating in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, possess strong attention to detail, and exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities. Additionally, effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for this role.
Desired Skills and Experience
Proven experience in performing routine maintenance tasks (welding experienceis a huge benefit)
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
Ability to follow technical instructions and manuals accurately
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a maintenance environment
Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Aptitude for learning current maintenance techniques and procedures
