They are looking for a Senior Python Developer to be their foundational internal engineering hire. This is a strictly hands-on engineering role. You will be the technical anchor for the platform writing high-quality production code and establishing engineering patterns for an outsourced development team. The Role

Take technical ownership of a critical digital platform, designing and building distributed systems. Translate complex requirements into secure, buildable technical solutions. Design and implement event-driven, asynchronous, and API-based workflows. Actively write, test, and deliver production software. Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and distributed-system issues.



Review code from external partners and challenge implementation approaches to ensure quality and security. Technical Requirements

Robust, current hands-on development experience with

Python and Django . Expertise in

asynchronous systems . Practical experience with

RabbitMQ

or similar messaging platforms. A solid understanding of

distributed systems and their failure modes Demonstrated experience integrating

Application Security

by design, including OAuth, up-to-date identity patterns, and secure handling of sensitive data. Strong experience with

PostgreSQL

or comparable relational databases.
