The Role Ginos Group is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson for an initial 3-month temporary assignment, to lead its architectural drafting and documentation function.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for producing accurate, compliant and construction-ready drawing sets from concept through to construction issue.
A significant portion of the role will initially focus on updating and modernising existing floor plans across the portfolio, ensuring all documentation is accurate, coordinated and maintained to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented drafting professional who enjoys working autonomously, taking ownership of processes and contributing directly to the delivery of property projects.
You'll have the prospect to implement drafting standards, improve systems and work closely with key stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities Prepare high-quality architectural documentation using CAD software Update and modernise existing floor plans and building documentation Review drawings for accuracy, consistency and constructability Maintain CAD standards,



templates, drawing registers and revision control Conduct site measures and verify existing conditions Assist with resolving documentation and coordination issues Ensure documentation complies with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and planning requirements Keep stakeholders informed of progress, deadlines and project risks About You You are an experienced Architectural Draftsperson who enjoys taking ownership of your work and delivering high-quality technical documentation.
You will also bring: Minimum 3+ years' experience in architectural drafting, building design or a similar role Advanced CAD proficiency with experience producing architectural documentation.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Architectural Drafting, Building Design, Architectural Technology or a related discipline Experience documenting commercial property projects A strong understanding of the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and Planning requirements Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate technical documentation Ability to manage competing priorities and meet key project deadlines Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills A proactive approach and ability to work autonomously Current driver's licence and willingness to make onsite visits when required Exposure to Revit, BIM software or 3D visualisation tools will be highly regarded.
