The opportunity We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The role involves working across various residential and commercial project sites throughout Sydney.
This is a full-time position of 38 hours per week.
What you'll do • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks and repairing damaged surfaces • Apply paint, varnish, stains, protective coatings and other finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment • Mix and match paints and colours to achieve required finishes • Apply primers, undercoats and finishing coats • Prepare and protect surrounding surfaces before painting • Carry out interior and exterior painting work on residential and commercial projects • Follow plans, specifications and client requirements • Maintain painting tools,



equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition • Work safely in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements • Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on construction sites What you'll bring • Minimum 1 year of relevant painting and decorating experience • Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent relevant trade qualification preferred • Good knowledge of surface preparation, paint application and finishing techniques • Ability to use brushes, rollers and spray equipment • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship • Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team • Good communication and time-management skills • Ability to work across different project sites throughout Sydney What we offer • $80,000 to $85,000 per year plus superannuation • Full-time, permanent employment • 38 hours per week • Work across a range of residential and commercial projects • Supportive and skilled working environment Ready to apply?
