Headquartered in Adelaide, the business provides investors with exposure to a broad range of agricultural sectors including cropping, livestock, horticulture and apiculture.
The company is focused on building long-term value through disciplined capital management, operational excellence and sustainable farming practices.
Following a period of significant business change and portfolio optimisation, the company is seeking an experienced Financial Controller .
Reporting directly to the CFO, the role will take ownership of the day-to-day finance operation while providing leadership, structure and process improvement across the team.
As the finance function continues to evolve, you will play a key role in strengthening reporting processes, driving efficiencies and supporting business decision-making.
The Role Your duties will include: Lead the financial reporting function across the Group, including month-end, year-end, statutory reporting, consolidations and compliance obligations Partner closely with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, board reporting and strategic financial planning Deliver commercial analysis, financial modelling and insights to support business performance, investment decisions and growth initiatives Oversee treasury, banking relationships and funding requirements while supporting capital management activities Manage audit, taxation, governance and regulatory obligations,



ensuring strong financial controls and risk management frameworks Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, processes, controls and reporting capabilities Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, building capability, accountability and a high-performance culture Collaborate with operational leaders and asset management stakeholders to provide financial support and enhance business outcomes Act as the CFO's trusted 2IC, helping strengthen the finance function and support the business through its next phase of growth and consolidation About You CA or CPA qualification and tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline Strong technical accounting expertise, including statutory reporting, consolidations, audit management and regulatory compliance Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, treasury and financial planning processes Strong business partnering skills with the confidence to influence stakeholders across all levels of an organisation Experience leading, developing and mentoring finance teams A continuous improvement mindset with exposure to systems enhancements, finance transformation or projects highly regarded Strong attention to detail, problem-solving capability and a proactive, hands-on approach Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and support a business through periods of change, growth and transformation In Return Genuine 2IC chance reporting directly to the CFO Play a key role in shaping the future structure and capability of the finance function Opportunity to work closely with senior leaders across finance, operations and asset management Strong learning and career development opportunities within a growing business Collaborative environment with broad exposure across the organisation Next Steps If you're interested in the position on offer, please apply using the relevant links.
