About the role Are you passionate about creating opportunities for young people to have their voices heard and make a genuine impact?
As a Youth Participation Worker, you'll design and deliver engaging, youth-led programs that inspire young people aged ***** to build confidence, develop life skills, strengthen their identity and expand their networks.
Working across Youth Services Peninsula programs, you'll create protected and inclusive spaces where young people can connect, contribute and thrive.
Reporting to the Client Services Coordinator, this is a permanent full-time position based on-site in Frankston, VIC.
Conditions Compensation is in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 5.
How you will make an impact Design and facilitate innovative youth-led groups, activities and events Empower young people to actively shape programs and service delivery Support young people to build confidence,



resilience and independence Create safe, inclusive and engaging environments where young people can flourish Build partnerships with community organisations to increase opportunities and outcomes for young people Provide person-centred, trauma-informed support that helps young people achieve their goals What you'll bring Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Social Sciences or a related discipline (degree qualification preferred) Experience working within the community services, youth or social services sector Strong understanding of youth participation, engagement and empowerment principles A current VIC Driver's Licence A current VIC Employee Working with Children Check What we offer At The Salvation Army, you'll be part of a purpose-driven organisation making a real difference every day.
