Mount Barker District Council is seeking an experienced Planner to support the assessment and administration of development across the District during a period of sustained growth.
The Planner will assess development applications in accordance with relevant planning legislation, policies and delegations, while providing sound planning advice, recommendations and high-quality customer service to Council, applicants, developers, residents and other stakeholders.
The role will contribute to the development and review of planning policies and procedures, support projects and continuous improvement initiatives, and promote a collaborative and professional City Development environment.
The successful applicant will hold a Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or equivalent, with demonstrated experience in development assessment and the application of South Australian planning legislation.
