We are working with a national firm who is experiencing significant growth and looking to expand their property disputes team in Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to work in an established litigation practice specialising in commercial and property disputes. You will work closely with a highly regarded partner on a broad range of property and development disputes, leasing, strata law, land contract and access to land issues.

Key responsibilities

Provide advice and manage files in a explicit and logical manner within required timeframes whilst developing sound case management strategies

Draft,



engross and settle varied types of advices and legal correspondence

Drafting pleadings

Appear in Court for call-overs, directions hearings, motions or to instruct Counsel

Speak to witnesses and briefing experts

Attend Mediations and Settlement Conferences

About you

5+ years PQE in property disputes or commercial litigation

Law degree and admission to practice in New South Wales with a current, unrestricted practicing certificate

Good understanding of court practices and procedures

Ability to draft legal documentation with robust attention to detail

Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and autonomously as and when required

Proven ability to prioritise workload within a busy environment and meet deadlines

Exceptional communication skills both with your colleagues and clients
