Please note this is a 12 months contractual role The D A Specialist supports data management and analytics initiatives by designing and implementing Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes, creating and maintaining actionable dashboards in Domo and Sigma, and optimizing process efficiency through the use of AI tools.
This position is responsible for facilitating business reviews to identify supply chain efficiencies, supporting the development of predictive analytics models, and preparing insightful reports for management.
Additionally, the role supports customer data projects by providing critical financial, logistics, and customer analysis, leading small-scale projects, and coordinating with key functional experts to drive continuous improvement.
This key player will streamline through collaboration and analytics where needed and also work off an automated analytic priority list as assigned by leadership.
The D A Specialist must leverage both customer data and internal data to drive growth and efficiencies and support demand and supply synchronization initiatives.
Responsibilities:



Design and implement ETL processes, create dashboards, and optimize efficiency through evaluations: Develop and manage ETL processes and pipelines for Colgate-Palmolive approved platforms Build and maintain actionable Domo and Sigma dashboards Monitor process efficiency and recommend adjustments when necessary Conduct training sessions to enhance broader team proficiency with reporting tools Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
Training end-users on new reports, dashboards and AI tools Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
Work with different members of the CS L team on reporting and automating analytical needs.
Work cross functionally with different teams on data sets, inputs and outputs.
Required Qualifications and Knowledge: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in data analytics, engineering, computer science or related.
Experience working in databases like snowflake, Big query, etc.
Experience in SQL programming: ability to read/write complex SQL queries to analyze data, investigate systemic defects and validate data quality.
Working knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ability to access relational and multidimensional databases.




Ability to develop AI tools that help with user queries or automate tasks Ability to learn and work in a changing workplace with minimal supervision.
Strong decision making skills and sound judgment.
Innovation and willingness to drive process improvement and reporting.
Preferred: Strong desire to serve the customer, identify and revolve needs and follow up when necessary.
Ability to lead data retrieval, transformation, aggregation, and organization in cloud-based systems (Snowflake preferred) and visualization in Sigma, Domo, or other similar tools.
Ability to write queries in spreadsheet processing programs and SQL.
Prior background within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
