This is a hands-on, fast-paced position at a busy food manufacturing site in Knoxfield, ideal for experienced fitters ready to take ownership of maintenance tasks across multiple lines.
In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining filling machines, conveyors, vertical form fill seal, tub packaging lines etc..
With a focus on preventative maintenance, you'll help reduce downtime and optimise machine performance on a site running up to five lines daily.
You'll also support a second nearby site, travelling between locations using a company vehicle.

and packaging lines efficiently Support machine start-ups and commissioning activities Use your technical knowledge to improve machine reliability and performance Assist with site maintenance activities at both locations, travelling easily between sites Communicate effectively within a diverse team to ensure smooth operations What we're looking for: Trade qualified mechanical fitter with food manufacturing experience preferred Conveyor and T A machine experience advantageous Forklift licence highly regarded, useful for installations and site support Strong communication skills, patience, and respectful attitude Ability to prioritise workload confidently under pressure Must not have a nut allergy, as the site is nut processing If you think this could be the role for you, please apply now.
