About the Role
The Translational Science Engagement Manager role is a position within the TRI Translational Engagement Business Unit. This role will work alongside the Research Impact Manager to develop and deliver programs and events which strengthen partnerships between scientists, clinicians and industry, and foster translational research at TRI. The role will also contribute to research impact and metric reporting.



The role will work closely with TRI's business units and partners to deliver these programs and outcomes.
This role is offered on a Maximum-Term Contract for 12 Months. It is Part-time, 15.2 hours per week (0.4 FTE).
Key Selection Criteria
Qualifications and Experience
Graduate qualification in a health or medical research discipline
Experience in medical research, research translation and the university higher education and/or healthcare sectors
Experience in managing and delivering projects/programs
Experience in co-ordinating and managing events
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Established leadership skills and demonstrated ability to manage projects and competing deadlines
Solid interpersonal and service skills and ability to communicate with research stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team
Well-developed organisational skills and professional accountability with demonstrated ability to independently establish work priorities, set realistic goals and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
A working understanding of medical research in the tertiary sector
