Metro North Health is seeking an exceptional executive leader to join our Executive Leadership Team as Executive Director, The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH).

About the role

This is a rare opportunity to lead one of Australia's leading tertiary referral hospitals and internationally recognised cardiothoracic centres. As Executive Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for a complex health service delivering world-class patient care, research, education and innovation.

About you
n
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Promote a culture of quality and safety among clinical staff and communicate the need for individuals to understand their contribution to quality and safety outcomes in patient care.
n
Work with the Chief Operating Officer, to ensure all facilities and services are strategically aligned with MNHHS service strategy including the implementation of State and National health priorities.
n
Lead the delivery of operational plans for the Hospital through robust governance and risk management and provide to the relevant parties timely and accurate reporting with a focus on performance outcomes.

Develop strong
relationships/partnerships
with a range of internal and external stakeholders including government agencies, community groups, service providers, education and research bodies, staff, clinicians, clients/consumers.
