About the Role
n
We are seeking experienced electricians to join our Queensland project delivery team based in Virginia on the full-time basis. You will work as an integral part of our onsite project delivery teams FIFO and DIDO throughout regional QLD and NSW to assist in successful delivery of large-scale communications projects for our clients in the mining, rail and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Participate in capital project installation at the direction of project management.
n
Lead the electrical, BESS and Solar installation and commissioning activities within a small team.
n
Generator installation and commissioning activities.
n
DC Power system integration (predominately Eltek and Eaton)
n
Testing and commissioning to Australian and client standards.
n
Ensure a zero-harm safety culture through compliance with standards and guidelines.
n
Contributes to a culture which encourages teamwork and collaboration
n

Skills and Experience
n
To be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates with:
n




n
Trade Certified Electrician with west Australian electrical license
n
Provide First Aid statement of attainment (within 3 years)
n
CPR and Low Voltage Rescue statement of attainment (within 1 years)
n
Construction Induction (White Card)
n
Work Safely at Heights statement of attainment (within 2 years industry standard)
n
Current Licence to Perform High Risk Work – Boom type elevating work platform (WP) – desirable.
n
Electrical experience working with Solar, Direct Current, Battery Backup systems and Telecommunications power supplies is desirable.
n
Experience working within mine sites – desirable.
n
Sound judgement to make appropriate decisions with limited direction.
