Retail Security Officer
, you will play an important role in creating a safe, secure and welcoming environment for customers, retailers and centre staff. You will combine a highly visible security presence with outstanding customer service, helping to protect people, property and assets while contributing to a positive retail experience.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Conduct
high-visibility internal and external patrols
throughout the retail centre
n
Monitor CCTV and respond promptly to
incidents, alarms and emergencies
n
Maintain a professional security presence while delivering
exceptional customer service
n
Monitor access points and enforce
site policies,



procedures and security requirements
n
Assist customers and retailers with enquiries, directions and general assistance
n
Liaise professionally with
Centre Management, retailers, emergency services and contractors
n
Identify and report
hazards, suspicious behaviour and security risks
n
Complete accurate and timely
incident reports and daily activity logs
n
Assist with
emergency evacuations, incidents and other emergency situations
n
Maintain a high standard of
professionalism, presentation and conduct
at all times
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for people who are reliable, professional and take pride in providing both
security and customer service excellence
.
n
You will have:
n
n
A current
NSW Security Licence
n
Current
First Aid and CPR certification
n
Previous retail security experience
highly regarded, but not essential
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Strong
conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
n
A professional presentation and
customer-focused approach
n
The ability to remain calm, alert and skilled under pressure
n
Strong observation skills and the ability to respond appropriately to incidents
n
A reliable and punctual approach to work
n
Flexibility to work
rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays
n
The ability to work effectively both




independently and as part of a team
n
