to join our growing team at Sonoma at our Alexandria bakery.

About the Role Experienced Baker

If you’re passionate about baking the best bread and skilled in crafting a range of artisan bread, this is your chance to join a fast-paced, creative, and supportive team.

We’re looking for people who:

Have experience in high quality artisan bread production

Are confident working with high hydration doughs

Experienced in mixing, hand shaping, proofing and baking to a high standard





Are confident using a variety of artisan baking equipment such as spiral mixers, Rheon bread divider, bun rounder, proofers and rack ovens.

Work well independently but thrive in a collaborative team environment

Available for day shift work across a rotating roster

Level 4 and 5 positions currently available with early morning 12.5% shift loading applied for 2am start.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a bakery or production environment essential

A strong work ethic and attention to detail

Good time management and communication skills

Team players who value collaboration and consistency

Must have full working rights in Australia
