Ulti-Mech is seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Electrician to join our Newman workshop.
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will develop skills across automotive electrical systems while completing a nationally recognised qualification.
About the Role
You will assist qualified technicians with:
Electrical fault diagnosis and repairs
Wiring and electrical installations
Battery, charging, and starting systems
Lighting and accessory installation
Vehicle servicing and inspections
Using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools
Maintaining workplace safety standards
Completing apprenticeship training requirements
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have a genuine interest in automotive electrical technology
Be reliable and punctual
Be mechanically and technically minded
Be eager to learn and develop recent skills
Follow instructions and safety procedures
Work well in a team setting
School leavers, mature-age applicants, and career changers are encouraged to apply.
Desirable Requirements
Driver's licence preferred
Pre-apprenticeship advantageous
Previous automotive or mechanical exposure advantageous but not essential
