We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse to our Rehabilitation Community Care Unit (CCU).
n
As a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member, the Clinical Nurse Rehabilitation Services CCU deliver high level discipline specific clinical services and leadership to
stakeholders/customers
of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health.
n
The Community Care Unit is a 35 bed community based service for adult consumers aged ******* years who have a severe and persistent mental illness. These symptoms substantially impair their psychosocial function and the capacity for independent living. The CCU is a level 5 non-acute facility as outlined in the Clinical Services Capability framework (CSCF).

Key Responsibilities include:

Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being understood to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.

Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) - State **** - Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 6, Band 1 and the Queensland Public Service values.
n
Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare,



actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.

Practice in accordance with code of ethics, qualified standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.

Remuneration value up to $******* p.a, comprising salary rates $***** - $***** p.h., employer contribution to superannuation ******%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NRG6.1) (Permanent Part-time, 56hrs p.f.).
