About the Role

Tanuki Restaurant is seeking an experienced Trade Waiter to join its front-of-house team. This role is suited to a service-focused qualified who can contribute to delivering a high standard of food and beverage service while ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities
Provide efficient and skilled table service, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times;
Take and process food and beverage orders accurately;
Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and coordinated service;
Set up and clear tables in accordance with service and presentation standards;
Welcome and seat guests, providing menus and explaining offerings when required;




Offer informed recommendations on menu items, beverages, and specials;
Monitor guest needs throughout service, including refilling beverages and addressing requests;
Process customer payments using POS systems;
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining and service areas;
Follow all workplace health, safety, and hygiene procedures.

About You
At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Waiter or similar role;
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
Good attention to detail and organisational skills;
Professional presentation and attitude;
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Employment Details
Position: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year
