Ulti-Mech is seeking an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our Newman team.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience working on trucks, heavy vehicles, and fleet equipment while completing a nationally recognised qualification.

About the Role

You will assist qualified technicians with:
Heavy vehicle servicing and maintenance
Mechanical repairs and component replacement
Vehicle inspections and fault diagnosis
Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools
Following secure work procedures
Completing apprenticeship training and workplace evidence requirements

About You

We are looking for someone who:




Has a genuine interest in heavy vehicles and mechanical work
Is reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Is willing to learn and develop trade skills
Can follow instructions and safety procedures
Works well as part of a team

School leavers, mature-age applicants, and career changers are encouraged to apply.

Desirable Requirements
Driver's licence preferred
Pre-apprenticeship advantageous
Previous mechanical experience advantageous but not essential
