About the Role:

Exciting leadership opportunity for a energetic individual as the Business Manager for the site. This role involves steering the success of a cutting-edge Regional Livestock Exchanges (RLX) facility, leading a team, leading safety and environment compliance on site, ensuring seamless business operations, facility upkeep, financial and business management, and compliance with industry standards. As the key liaison with stakeholders, including clients, community, and industry representatives, the role also presents the chance to explore and cultivate new business prospects.

Manage the business operations at the site encompassing:

Facility Management

Financial Performance

People Management

Environment and OHS Management

Build and nurture relationships with clients,
community and industry representatives

Explore and develop current business opportunities

Qualifications and Skills:
n
n
Experience in leading teams and growing a business
n
Minimum of five years in management roles
n
Experience in facility management or working in the agricultural industry is highly advantageous
n
Tertiary qualifications or a diploma in Business or Agriculture (or equivalent experience)
n
Strong leadership and management skills
n
Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop staff
n
Commercial acumen and entrepreneurial drive
n
Humane Destruction of Animals (or willingness to get one)
n
Current Driver's License, Senior First Aid Certificate, and Firearm License (or willingness to get one)
