Redcliffe Leagues Club (Dolphins) is seeking a Commis Chef to join the team. With a range of food outlets, including Koopa Cafe, On The Green, Bistro forty20, 8 function rooms, Dolphins NRL catering and a 10,000-seat KAYO Stadium, supported by over 50,000 Dolphin members, this is an prospect to be part of a dynamic and thriving setting.

Key responsibilities

n

Contribute to the kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation and occasional menu input
n
Assist the Executive Chef, Head Chef and Chef de Partie with all culinary requirements, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
n
Maintain consistent food standards and cleaning/hygiene routines
n
Mise en place, cooking and plating for catering functions
n
Assist the wider catering team in maintaining catering techniques and procedures, food safety regulations and workplace health and safety
n

About you

n

Proven experience in the operation of a qualified kitchen operation in a Club environment
n




Certificate IV in commercial cookery
n
Proven experience as a qualified Cook or Chef
n
Extensive knowledge of general and specialised food preparation techniques and procedures
n
Sound knowledge of the latest cooking trends and techniques
n
Sound knowledge of stock management procedures
n
Driven and passionate culinary professional
n
