Our client is a specialist mining contractor supporting operations across NSW, and they're looking for a Light Vehicle Fitter to join their crew in Cobar.

n

This isn't your standard workshop job.

n

You'll be working in office, looking after a small, well-maintained fleet of Landcruisers and Hiluxes that the mine relies on every day. It's hands‐on work, good gear, solid conditions and a crew that knows what they're doing.

What You'll Be Looking After

n

You'll be responsible for keeping a small fleet of mine vehicles secure, reliable and ready to work, including:

n

10x Landcruisers
n




2–3x Hiluxes
n
Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
n
Mechanical repairs and fault finding
n
Basic electrical troubleshooting
n
Pre-starts and vehicle inspections
n
Condition monitoring and general fleet maintenance
n
Ensuring vehicles remain secure, reliable and mine-compliant
n

What You'll Need

n

n
Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
n
Light vehicle mechanical experience
n
Mining, heavy industry or dealership experience highly regarded
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
Safety-first attitude and good attention to detail
n
Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen
n
