Veterinary Specialists of Sydney (VSOS) is looking for an experienced Radiographer to join our Imaging team on a fixed-term contract from January to October ****.
n

Our Imaging Facilities

VSOS has a dedicated, state-of-the‐atop diagnostic imaging service equipped with:
n
State‐of‐the‐art fluoroscopy
n
You'll have the opportunity to use your existing radiography skills in a unique veterinary environment, imaging a diverse range of patients and clinical conditions.
n
About the Role
n
You will work closely with our veterinary specialists, residents, nurses and imaging team to provide high‐quality diagnostic imaging for our patients.
n
Your primary responsibilities will include:
n
n
Performing CT and MRI examinations
n
Ensuring consistently high‐quality diagnostic images
n
Working with our Siemens CT and MRI systems
n
Supporting X‐ray and fluoroscopy imaging where required
n
Working collaboratively with our veterinary, nursing and imaging teams
n
Supporting efficient patient flow through the imaging service
n
Following appropriate MRI, radiation and workplace safety protocols
n
Assisting with the day‐to‐day operation of our busy diagnostic imaging service
n

Applicants MUST be competent and experienced in performing both CT and MRI examinations.
n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
Has demonstrated experience operating CT and MRI
n
Is confident working independently with advanced imaging equipment
n
Has excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on image quality
n
Communicates well and enjoys working as part of a team
n
Is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy clinical environment
n
Brings a positive and collaborative approach to their work
n
n
Previous veterinary experience is not essential. If you come from human radiography and are interested in transferring your skills into veterinary medicine, we would love to hear from you.

Tuesday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
n
The position will commence in January **** and is initially a fixed‐term contract through to October ****.
n
There may also be an opportunity for the successful candidate to remain with VSOS on a casual basis following completion of the contract.
