Secondary Teachers – **** Teaching Opportunities

Zahra Grammar School is entering an exciting new stage of its development with the commencement of secondary education in ****. We are seeking applications from qualified, enthusiastic and committed secondary teachers who would like to play an important role in establishing and developing our High School program. Teaching opportunities are available in English, Mathematics, Science, HSIE, PDHPE, Technology Mandatory / Computing, and other secondary teaching areas may also be considered. Both experienced teachers and early-career teachers who meet the relevant requirements are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

Demonstrate effective teaching and classroom management practices
n
Have high expectations for student learning and achievement
n
Support the wellbeing and individual learning needs of students
n
Communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with students, colleagues and families
n
Work collaboratively and contribute positively to the broader school community
n
Participate in curriculum planning and development
n
Contribute to the development of the High School as it grows
n
Help establish strong teaching and learning practices from the beginning
n
About you
n
Hold appropriate secondary teaching qualifications and current NESA accreditation, or are eligible for accreditation in NSW
n
Hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
n




Have sound knowledge of the relevant NSW curriculum and syllabus requirements
n
Respect and support the Islamic ethos, values and educational objectives of Zahra Grammar School
n
