An outstanding opportunity is available for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a supportive multidisciplinary mental health service in a beautiful waterfront location within easy reach of Sydney.
This is a rewarding clinical leadership position within an Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit, offering the chance to provide high-quality psychiatric care while contributing to the development of services and supporting junior medical staff.
The Opportunity
In this senior clinical role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and ongoing clinical care to adult patients. Working within an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will:
Provide specialist psychiatric assessment and management
Develop and review comprehensive treatment and care plans
Deliver patient-centred inpatient mental health care
Work collaboratively with nursing, allied health and medical colleagues
Provide supervision, support and education to junior medical staff
Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and service development
Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and clinical decision-making
Support positive outcomes for patients, families and the wider community

About You
You will be a qualified Psychiatrist with:
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), or equivalent
Specialist Registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for Specialist Registration
Experience in adult inpatient psychiatry
Robust clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills.
