Key responsibilities
Producing a range of pastries, cakes, baked goods and desserts to a consistently high standard
Preparing, finishing and decorating products with a robust eye for detail and presentation
Following recipes, production processes and quality standards
Contributing ideas and working collaboratively on new products and seasonal offerings
Managing daily pastry production efficiently and keeping to production timelines
Monitoring ingredient levels and communicating ordering requirements
Maintaining clean, organised and well-run workstations
Ensuring equipment is used safely and maintained appropriately
Working closely with the wider kitchen, bakery and front-of-house teams
Supporting and sharing knowledge with other members of the pastry team

About you
At least 2 years' experience in a professional pastry, bakery or similar environment
A strong understanding of pastry techniques and production
Excellent attention to detail and pride in their work




The ability to work efficiently in a busy production setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good organisation and time management
Reliability, punctuality and a solid sense of responsibility
The ability to work independently and take ownership of your section
