Mater Private HospitalSouth Brisbane is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to work within our Neurology and Neuro Surgical Service. This position will be employed on a Permanent Part-time Basis - 32 hours per week.

What you'll be doing
n
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
n
Utilising a structured approach carry out comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients
n
Within scope of practice, implements planned evidence-based nursing interventions
n
Act as a patient advocate ensuring patients are informed and consent is gained prior to procedures
n
Contribute to the maintenance of an setting which promotes safety, security and personal integrity of individual patients and groups
n
Maintain and adhere to Infection Control policies and practices
n
Complies with organisational policies, procedures, work instructions and guidelines
n
Ensure confidentiality of corporate and patient information
n
About you
n
To be successful in your application you will have:
n
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions)
n
Recent nursing experience in an acute hospital setting (at least 1-year post-graduate experience)
n
Previous experience within a pre and post-operative nursing care in an acute setting is highly desirable
n
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
