Your client is a well-established civil construction contractor delivering major earthworks, infrastructure, and subdivision projects across Victoria. Due to continued growth and a robust pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join their team.

Your new role
n
As an Excavator Operator, you will play a key role in the delivery of civil construction projects, operating machinery safely and efficiently while working alongside experienced site teams.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate excavators ranging from 5T to 50T+ safely and efficiently
n
Bulk and detailed excavation works
n
Trenching for drainage, sewer, water, and electrical services
n
Daily pre-starts and routine machine maintenance checks
n
Adhere to site safety requirements and company procedures
n
Work collaboratively with supervisors, spotters, and ground crews
n
n




What you'll need to succeed
n
n
Proven experience operating excavators on civil, infrastructure, quarry or earthworks projects
n
Relevant plant operating tickets
n
White Card
n
Strong understanding of site safety procedures
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Final trim experience highly regarded
n
GPS experience (Topcon, Trimble, Leica) highly regarded
n
