Turner Freeman Lawyers is a national law firm specialising in plaintiff personal injury litigation.

We have an exciting opportunity available in ourCanberra office for a part-time Paralegal. This role will be supporting the team in the area of Personal Injury with a focus primarily on Institutional Abuse matters.

The ideal candidate will currently be in theirthirdor fourth year of their law degree and ideally have previous experience working as either a legal assistant or paralegal in personal injury. The role will require you to work a minimum of3 to 4 daysper week.

Excellent mentoring, training and support is provided, together with the prospect to progress at the conclusion of your degree.

ABOUT THE JOB
Drafting and collating legal documents;
Drafting legal correspondence;




Preparing chronologies and summaries;
Preparation of statements;
Liaising with clients, medical and legal professionals and other government bodies;
File and document management;

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Youmustbe in your third or fourth year of your law degree;
A bright and enthusiastic law student who has a passion for helping people;
Previous experience in personal injury is essential;
Solid written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent attention to detail;
A hard working, focused attitude.
