Canterbury-Bankstown Council takes trainees into its customer service team for two years and puts them through a TAFE course while they work. Previous customer service experience is not essential, but you need full unrestricted working rights in Australia, and the traineeship does not start until February 2027.

Requirements:
Be a current Year 12 student, recent school leaver, or early career skilled
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Computer literacy skills

Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work permit/visa with full unrestricted working rights

Salary commences at $38,272 (T3 at 17 years of age) or $44,746 (T4 at 18+ years or completed HSC), plus 12% super
