Eco Scrap Recycling Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Welder – First Class to join our metal recycling workshop. You will perform high‑precision welding, structural fabrication, repairs and assembly work in a busy industrial workplace.
Key responsibilities
Structural welding using MIG, TIG and Stick processes
Metal fabrication including cutting, forming and assembling steel components
Reading and interpreting drawings and welding symbols
Weld quality inspection to AS/NZS standards
Repairing and maintaining metal structures and equipment
Operating workshop machinery and tools safely
Always maintaining WHS compliance
About you
Certificate III or IV in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years' experience as a First-Class Welder
Robust competency in MIG, TIG and SMAW welding
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Experience in fabrication, recycling, construction or heavy‑industry settings
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
