Job Description

You will be responsible for the daily operation and performance of the Spa Production Department. Reporting to the Production Manager, this is a hands-on working supervisor role where you will coordinate the day-to-day operation of the Spa Department, lead and support the production team, and work alongside them when required to ensure production, safety and quality targets are achieved.

Key responsibilities

Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the Spa Production team
n
Planning and prioritising daily and weekly production requirements
n
Allocating work orders and sequencing builds to meet production targets
n
Monitoring production progress and responding to delays, material shortages and quality issues
n
Training, coaching and supporting team members
n
Ensuring workmanship and finished-product quality standards are maintained
n
Working hands-on with the team when required, including spa assembly, fitting jets and components, pipework and general production activities
n
Ensuring completed spas are leak tested, functionally tested and inspected before release
n
Maintaining strong WHS, PPE,



housekeeping and 5S standards
n
Identifying practical improvements to productivity, quality, ergonomics and material usage
n

About you

Previous Team Leader or Supervisor experience in manufacturing, assembly or production
n
Robust mechanical aptitude
n
Confidence using hand and power tools
n
The ability to organise production priorities and keep work moving
n
A strong focus on safety, quality and output
n
Valuable communication and people-management skillsThe confidence to hold team members accountable while also supporting and developing them
n
The ability to read and follow work orders and production instructions
n
Valuable attention to detail and record keeping
n
Hands-on experience in manufacturing, plumbing, pipework, pumps, fittings, fabrication, leak testing, assembly or similar environments
n
