Due to expansion in workload and company growth, we are seeking experienced Imports Officer to join our team in Brisbane on a full-time basis. Your role will predominately be working in our expanding eCommerce sector where you'll be given coaching in our industry leading IT software.

The Role:

You will be responsible for:
n
n
Preparing custom documentation
n
Liaising with clients (nationally and internationally), carriers, ABF and AQIS
n
Co-coordinating with clients and internal staff
n
Managing bonded warehouse
n
Support custom brokers
n
Complete all required documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policy and compliance obligations
n
Follow all WHS and compliance requirements
n
Follow procedures and communicate effectively with internal and external team
n
Ad-hoc tasks as required by management
n
Have previous experience working in a similar role
n
n
To be successful, you will need to have the following:

At least 2 years' freight forwarding experience
n
Current and proven experience in a similar role
n
Service oriented and strong customer-focus approach
n
Strong attention to detail and good time management
n
Accurate and rapid data entry skills
n
Excellent communication and organisational skills
n
Ability to manage conflicting workload
n
Demonstrated proficiency in computer usage
n
EDI experience
n
Mandarin Speaking highly desirable (not essential)
n
