We are seeking reliable and passionate Cooks and Assistant Cooks to join aged care facilities near Tamworth. You'll be responsible for preparing nutritious and enjoyable meals while creating a positive dining experience for residents.

Cook / Assistant Cook – Aged Care

Location: Near Tamworth, NSW

Key Responsibilities
n

Prepare and serve meals according to menu and dietary requirements
n
Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties
n
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
n
Cater to special dietary needs and modified meals
n
Work closely with the kitchen and care team
n
Assist with stock rotation and general kitchen duties
n

About You
n
n
Previous experience as a Cook, Assistant Cook, or Kitchen Hand
n
Experience in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality is highly desirable
n
Food Safety/Handling knowledge or certification
n




Good understanding of dietary requirements
n
Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a team
n
Compassionate and respectful when working with elderly residents
n
Relevant cooking qualifications are desirable for Cook positions
n

Compliance Requirements
n
Successful applicants will be required to complete standard employment and compliance checks, including relevant police, work rights, vaccination, identification, and reference checks.
