Job Description
Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day finance function and provide transparent financial reporting to our directors. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can manage the detail of a busy construction business while keeping cash flow, reporting and financial obligations on track.

Key responsibilities
n
Manage accounts payable and receivable, creditor and debtor records, payments and bank reconciliations
n
Process payroll, superannuation and payroll tax, and reconcile leave balances and provisions
n
Coordinate subcontractor and project securities, including bank guarantees, surety bonds and return dates
n
Maintain cash flow forecasts, overhead budgets and project finance records
n
Complete month-end journals, reconciliations and the Jobpac close process, including work in progress and unearned revenue
n
Prepare monthly management reports and BAS/IAS information for lodgement by external accountant
n
Coordinate insurance renewals, workers compensation declarations and financial reporting for licensing
n
Manage end-of-financial-year payroll, Single Touch Payroll finalisation, TPAR and the Jobpac rollover, working with external accountant on annual requirements
n
About you
n
Experience in a finance management or senior accounting role,



ideally in construction or a project-based business
n
Strong working knowledge of payroll, reconciliations, cash flow forecasting and month-end reporting
n
The ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain accurate records across multiple projects
n
Confidence working directly with directors, project teams, brokers and external accountants
n
Must have Jobpac experience
