Edge Concepts QLD is looking for experienced Site Installers to join our installation team for project work through to the end of **** and possibly into early ****.
n
This is a casual, short-term project role offering consistent hours and an immediate start.
n

Edge Concepts QLD is a leading manufacturer and installer of premium balustrades, screening, fencing and architectural metalwork throughout South East Queensland.
n
We work with some of the region's leading builders and developers across commercial, multi-residential and high-end residential projects.
n
Our current workload requires additional experienced installers to support our existing crews through a busy project delivery period.
n
About the Role
n
You'll work alongside our existing installation teams across construction sites throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas, depending on your location.
n
You will be responsible for installing:
n
n
Frameless and semi-frameless glass balustrades
n
Stainless steel and aluminium balustrades
n
Stainless steel and aluminium handrails
n
Privacy and architectural screens
n
Aluminium and glass fencing and gates
n
Window hoods
n
Rooftop pergolas
n
n
You'll work closely with our Project Managers and installation crews to complete projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
n
What We're Looking For
n




We're particularly interested in people with a trade background in:
n
n
Carpentry
n
Glazing
n
Cabinet making
n
Shopfitting
n
Sheet metal fabrication
n
Similar construction-related trades
n
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Previous construction site experience
n
Strong installation and hand-tool skills
n
Ability to read drawings and accurately measure and install
n
Positive attention to detail
n
Ability to work productively without constant supervision
n
A current White Card
n
A current driver's licence
n
A reliable and professional approach to work
n
n
Previous experience installing balustrades, glass, screens, fencing or architectural metalwork is highly regarded but isn't essential for experienced tradespeople with transferable skills.
n

$55-$60 per hour casual rate, depending on experience
