Job Description

Are you an experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver looking for a secure local role on the Sunshine Coast? We are seeking dedicated drivers to join a leading environmental and waste management team in an ongoing, full-time capacity.

Consistent Local Hours:

n

Monday to Friday schedule with standard 5:00 AM starts (typically 10-hour days, with occasional 11+ hour shifts).

n

Work-Life Balance:

n

Minimal weekend work with a shared rotation roster (1 Saturday shift per month).

n

Comprehensive Training:

n

Full onboarding, structured buddy shifts, and complete training on how to operate all vacuum equipment and machinery.

n

Home Daily:

n

All local operations across the Sunshine Coast region.

n

Secure operation and handling of heavy vacuum vehicles for liquid and waste collection.

n

Conducting pre-start checks, basic maintenance, and maintaining logbooks.

n





Assisting with in office pump-outs, equipment setup, and discharge procedures.

n

Occasional movement of MC fleet vehicles around the depot/yard as required (if you hold an MC licence).

n

Licence:

n

Minimum Heavy Combination (HC) licence required.

n

Experience:

n

Waste industry experience is a bonus, but not essential-a strong work ethic and willingness to learn equipment operation are key.

n

Reliability:

n

Punctual, safety-focused mindset with the physical capability to handle manual hoses and heavy vehicle operations.
