n Pidapipo Pty Ltd, trading as Pidapipó, is a Melbourne-based Italian gelato business offering artisanal gelato, gelato cakes, chocolate and other specialty products.n

n The business is currently seeking an experienced Retail Manager for a permanent full-time position in Carlton VIC 3053. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day retail operations, supervising staff, coordinating stock and maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation.n
n
n Key Responsibilities n

n
Managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
n
Supervising, training and coordinating retail staff to ensure efficient and skilled service.
n
Preparing staff rosters and allocating duties according to operational requirements.
n
Monitoring stock levels and coordinating the ordering, receiving and appropriate storage of products and supplies.
n
Maintaining product displays and ensuring high standards of store presentation.
n
Monitoring sales performance, stock movements and day-to-day operational costs.
n
Ensuring high standards of customer service and responding professionally to customer enquiries and feedback.
n




Coordinating with staff and management to maintain efficient workflows and service standards.
n
Maintaining accurate sales, stock and operational records.
n
Supporting the implementation of retail procedures and operational standards.
n
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
n

About You n n
At least 1 year of relevant experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
n
Strong leadership, staff supervision and team coordination skills.
n
Experience in retail operations, stock control and customer service.
n
Good understanding of product presentation and retail service standards.
n
Solid organisational and time management skills.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
n
Solid attention to detail and a professional approach to work.
n
Ability to work efficiently in a busy customer-facing retail environment.
