What's the role?
As a Bank Manager, you'll be the head and heart of a frontline banking team that loves to exceed the expectations of local customers, whilst playing a hands-on role in a community that you're proud to call your own.
Inspiring a team of customer service and sales specialists, you'll set the standard for the Westpac Group experience – and it'll be an exceptional experience at that!
You'll be the driving force behind your branch's overall success – holding financial, risk and operational accountability – whilst ensuring customer advocacy is at the heart of all you and your team do.
How will I help?

Drive balancedgrowthacrosscustomer advocacy,lending,assisted solutionsanddigital adoptionthrough strong stakeholder relationships with specialist teams, regional leadership and community networks
Drive customeracquisition,serviceandretention– building genuine connections with customers and the community andresolvingcustomer concerns effectively and efficiently
Recruitment,training,retainingandperformance managementof frontline branch staff
What do I need?
Leadershipexperience gained in Banking and Finance is essential
Experience of working to fulfilbusinessperformancetargets andspur growth
Proven experience of holding accountability forriskandcompliance, staffperformanceandcustomerexperience
High-energy, with an ability toinspireandmotivatea diverse team
Ability to effectivelyde-escalateand address challenging situations by using strongcommunicationandproblem-solvingskills
