Refrigeration Service Technician – Commercial Equipment

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Service Technician to join our NSW team.

The Role
This is a field-based position servicing client sites throughout Sydney and regional NSW.
You will carry out reactive repairs,



preventative maintenance and fault-finding across a broad range of commercial refrigeration equipment, including:
Cool rooms and freezer rooms
Commercial refrigerators and freezers
Ice machines
Underbench and display refrigeration
Other commercial kitchen and catering equipment
Experience servicing commercial dishwashers, ovens or other catering equipment would be highly regarded but is not essential.
The position involves travel throughout NSW, including occasional regional and extended travel when required.
Key Responsibilities
Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration and catering equipment
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and professionally
Identify practical, cost-effective solutions for clients
Provide transparent advice regarding equipment condition, repairs and replacement requirements
Complete accurate job reports and documentation using Simpro
Communicate effectively with clients, office staff and the wider technical team
Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
Ensure all work complies with relevant safety requirements and manufacturer specifications
Participate in an on-call roster
About You
You will be an experienced refrigeration technician who can work independently,



think on your feet and use the technical resources and support available to deliver the right outcome for the client.
To be successful, you will have:
A current refrigeration trade qualification
A current refrigerant handling licence
A current Restricted Electrical Licence
At least three years' relevant commercial refrigeration experience
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience servicing commercial refrigeration equipment
A current unrestricted driver's licence
Good communication and customer service skills
Strong time-management and organisational skills
The ability to work independently and contribute to a team
A professional approach and pride in your workmanship
A willingness to build trusted, long‐term relationships with clients
Your own tools of trade, preferably
The ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working With Children Check
Commercial kitchen and catering equipment experience will be highly regarded.
